Adidas is one of the leaders on the market of footwear for sports and everyday wear. It is one of the most favorite brands not only for professional sportsmen but also for those who give preference to high-quality and comfortable footwear. It is not surprising that everyone wants to have a pair of Adidas sneakers as they are the icon of style.
Especially now, when Adidas sneakers are worn not only with sports wear but also with dresses, every fashionable girl follows the brand trends. However, the price for original footwear isn’t affordable for everyone. That’s why there are so many fakes on the market. Today, it is becoming more and more difficult to distinguish original brand sneakers from fake because producers of fake shoes do their best to offer the copy, which looks maximum similar to the brand.
Want to know what to pay attention when buying a new pair of Adidas sneakers? Check the distinctive features that the original shoes have. Remember that only original shoes are made of top-notch quality materials, which differ with the great longevity.
Key Differences Between Original and Fake Adidas
Let’s have a closer look at brand shoes and their main characteristics for you to be sure that you are going to make the right choice. Here is the list of things you should pay attention to if you want to have an original pair of shoes in your wardrobe.
1. Serial Number

To know whether your pair of shoes is original, you need to look inside. Compare label tags on both shoes: if they are different on the right and on the left shoe, you have got original Adidas. In case, both shoes have the same serial number inside, in front of you, there is a 100% fake. Also, you should check the number on the box. The serial number on the inner label tag and on the box should coincide.

2. Adidas Logo
Another important thing to pay attention to is the logo. If you compare a fake an an original pair of sneakers, you will see that fakes always have logos-stickers while branded logo is carved on the tongue. The logo on fake shoes will wear off much faster than the logo on the original pair of shoes.

3. Stitch

4.Color
Often, you can see that the color of sneakers you have chosen in some internet store isn’t presented on the official website. What does this mean? It is a fake! Producers of fake Adidas shoes often copy the model itself but add some other colors to the model range. That’s why if you have found very cute pink sneakers, which you haven’t seen in the official store, don’t hurry to feel happy that it is a new model color. It is better to check on the website whether the chosen model is available in the color you have seen it somewhere else.
5.Laces and Eyelets
In most cases, original sneakers have one more pair of laces, which are well-packed. If you have got a pair of sneakers and haven’t found new laces inside the box, you are likely to have a fake. However, many producers of fakes have also started to add a new pair of laces. That’s why this can’t be the most important criterion when distinguishing original and fake. However, this doesn’t mean that you should ignore this feature. If you have laces in the box, evaluate how they are packed because most fake producers don’t care much about the separate package for laces.
One more thing to pay attention to is the material of eyelets for laces. Only old models of Adidas could have metal eyelets like you will see on the photo. All new models, without an exception, don’t have metal eyelets.

6.Barcode
The inscription “Made in China” is now not a sign of a copy. Since 1994, Adidas has moved almost all of its production to third world countries in order to increase its output. Therefore, the inscription “made in Germany” cannot be seen on sneakers even in the original store, and this should not scare you. It is normal! The barcode of Adidas products, regardless of the country of origin, contains the German code, i.e. the first three digits must be from 400 to 440.
7.Price and Place
Sure that everyone wants to buy a high-quality pair of shoes for cheap but unfortunately, it is impossible. Brand shoes aren’t cheap because the materials of the superior quality are used for their production. Moreover, you need to understand that original Adidas can be sold only in the official store, on their official website, or on the site of their official representative. Take this into account and don’t think that you have found a great deal, which cost is several times cheaper than the shoes presented on the official website.
Hope that now you have a better understanding of how original top quality Adidas shoes look like. Bear in mind all above-mentioned features and you will be able to distinguish between original and fake Adidas footwear easily!
Shoes should be bought in official stores in order to immediately try on them, put on shoes, try on your feet, walk, and only then buy! Yep, it be more expensive than on the Internet, but it’s checked on your foot, and not a pig in a poke over the Internet!
LoL number 1 is fake. I bought my shoes in a legit adidas store and the serial number on both shoe is the same lol
Thank you, I checked everything, it seems original
If it says what has been done in Indonesia, I personally don’t care whether it is fake or not! Homeland Adidas is Germany!
Not it’s not fake even if its6from Indonesia. I just bought a pair myself.
Adidas Senseboost Go and it’s made in Indonesia so don’t worry
For some styles and articles it surely come from Indonesia since an authorized suppliers produced for adidas, and after Vietnam, Indonesia grow as one of the largest sourcing country to supply for adidas
No legit Adidas are made in Germany anymore.
In 2020 it’s quite difficult to distinguish fake by eye. The quality of the original products of the leading brands has fallen dramatically.
Hello! I can not determine whether Adidas Questar sneakers are original. Everything suggests that the original according to your instruction. But on the model on the Internet and on mine there are differences – on my lacing – the elastic and the fastener are still Velcro, and on the model on the Internet there is only ordinary lacing.
real German quality can only be bought in Germany or if you are very lucky then in Europe
I bought adidas sneaker s

I’ve just bought a pair of samba original trainers from a well known store via Amazon.
When i got them i inspected them.
They looked ok but the date code was 04/15 (5 and a half years old)
They were £ 64
Is this legal…..needless to say i’ve send back for a refund.
Do original adidas sambas always have a letter R in a circle on their logos?
Does studio 88 sell fake products of addidas?
I purchased the all white adidas via their official website. I have had multiple pairs of these sneakers and quickly noticed the differences between my old ones and my new ones. The new ones no longer had the logo stamped in the tread near the ball of the foot. The new ones stitching was not as close to the edge of the three stripes running diagonally on display at the side of the shoe. The new ones were also very narrow and the whole shoe seemed to twist from the inside toward the outside going from toe to bridge of foot on one sneaker and on the other sneaker the opposite was true. Again I purchased these off the official website and ended up sending them back. I’m not sure if someone sent their fakes in and i received them after being restocked or what, because I have literally tried multiple sources and all the pics show the same stitching issues and lack of stamped logo in the tread. Have adidas changed their way of making these shoes?
Hallo, I am Gaurav, I hve purchased a model No women EW 2455, I CANT JUDGE as per instructions, the No. On tongue is different, have their official website, but no extra pair of laces, and no ADIDAS logo anywhere, I have purchased it for INR RS. 1600/_ but still Doubt.
Can you send a photo to stepadrom@gmail.com I will stick it here?
Even I have purchased a shoe from Amazon and I’m not sure about its authenticity. The stich, quality of the materials used and everything is really good. Except for the fact that there’s some glue visible near the sole, but this is relatively a cheaper model so I don’t think that’s an issue. But the barcode (line thingy) given on the tag attached to the shoe isn’t matching the one given on the box and the size mentioned on the tag is 8 where as the shoes are actually 11 in size. So it’d be great if you can help me with this.
it llike getthelabel or dressin etc sell fake
